Wanted a road car and ive had minis and beetles, so wanted another classic car m chassis. I love the pink on my frog so much, especially in the sun. I was gonna do black and pink but after careful consideration and using my years of professional artist experience (LOL) i knew that it had to be BROWN!
I had a few struggles with the kit, the gearbox was clicking when the dif was operating, had to tear it down and rebuild it twice... youd think id know how after building so many of these. Then one dogbone was jumping out so had to ad O-ring shims. ANYWAYS now it is runnin like a dream.
This is the first time i ever did the soapy water decal trick, wow, game changer. Also first time using a heat gun on decals, and again, total freaking game change.

Beautiful piece of work, to think my mom drove one of those in the streets of London many years ago, it's mind blowing. If you remove the body posts on the top picture, I swear I'd have to take a real close look if it were a 1:1 car or now. Very good detailed work. Nice

I was thinking of getting a little teeny blue tooth speaker and plaing an ice cream truck song and maybe getting a decal sheet made. maybe Happy Herbs Big Sticks, the ice cream truck from Cheech and Chongs 'Up In Smoke'

Yeah l agree l love the boxart Frog paint job too! I just got a Frog and for a guy that don't really like pink l can't stop looking at it! The Frog wears pink in a classy way! But must say this 2CV is wearing pink with style too! Nice job mate!
