Bought a couple of Fighting Buggies then saw these were being re-stocked.
Haven't built a Scorcher from NIB since the original release back in 1979, so thought it was about time for another go
Pre-ordered from Fusion, couple of weeks wait and +1 Sorcher and a diff

Ordered a spare body when I bought the FBs and then scored a Rough Rider shell and some FAV wheels on eBay.

It's a great fun build, and so nice they used the blister packaging again. Love a Scorcher! Enjoy!

It's just great to get the opportunity to build a true icon!

Very nice what a classic kit to build! and its great to see someone else still using a NiMH battery pack! Iol l thought l was the only old dinosaur still using them!

@Mad-Bee - I did have a few LiPo but never bothered to get my head around the science of them - for what I use my models for, NiMH is fine. I sold my LiPo, ammo cases, charge bags, balancers etc. a while back - I saw one too many videos of charge fires to properly trust them.

Yeah snap mate! All the same reasons and points for me too plus l like using NiMH batteries they have never really let me down and have an old school feel about them that l like! Totally get it about the Lipo risk too bud! I have enough to worry about in life let alone adding my hobby to that list!!

Where are you finding Fighting Buggy spare bodies?! Lol.

Sorry GoFast80, I meant spare Scorcher body - haven't seen any spare FB shells yet, but did manage to get a bodyset last time round. Dunno if re-re-releases get spares?

No problem. The FB re-re unfortunately only comes with the one body, and I prefer to spend time on the paint jobs once I have a good chassis built, so I wish they would produce spares for that model. Good luck with this SS model, the ball diff really makes a difference.
