My favorite body on a more affordable chassis.
This car started life as a 40th anniversary 934. I built the 236mm chassis from Maxspeede and tried to split the wheelbase difference between the wheel wells but like others I was disappointed with the look. The chassis is just too long.
Fast forward a bit of time and Tamiya releases this black version and Maxspeede starts producing a shortened 230 mm version of the chassis. I put one on order and bust into this black kit to start building. That's when the pandemic hit and most worldwide shipping halted. It took the better part of 9 months to get a chassis delivered. Nevertheless I was finally able to build a chassis that looks right for the body.
This chassis built using a Maxspeede Carbon Fiber shock towers and 230 mm chassis. Silver Taisan gear cases. Team Orion Revolution motor. Tamiya 53155 low friction dampers and CChand Alloy Fuch wheels.
