I couldn't help myself! I enjoyed building the Javelin so much that I thought I'd do it all over again...only this time with gold anodised parts! Just don't tell the wife!!
Thanks Ben. I'm going with box art for this with the Le Mans 490 brushed motor. I think it will stay on the shelf though so I can stare at it every day!
I have some other builds and projects to complete first but I'm really looking forward to build this one. I often open the box of this and the ultima to enjoy the fantastic look of these kits, Kyosho did an awesome job on the packaging IMO. (hint hint Tamiya) Both my kits are meant to be used so for now I enjoy the pristine look before they are build and before the first run
I know what you mean about lifting the lids and taking a look at the packaging @Tamiyastef! It's lovely packaging and it does seem a shame to break into it, but they are there to be built and used. I'm sure I'll eventually run this, but the Javelin will be the runner for now
Haha I know what you mean woomagic, but the high quality just about justifies the price! I still haven't started building this yet though it's in the queue!
You'll love building Kyosho's! I'm Tamiya close at heart, but the build quality of a Kyosho is impressive. They're great to build. I may get the Mid rere too. I have now built this and it's posted separately in my showroom. Thanks for looking

I've never really been a fan of Kyosho but this really appeals to me........although the price doesn't lol.

Amazing Car! Classic Buggy… allways was closer to Tamiya…but couldn‘t resist to buy the ReRe Optima MID… can‘t wait!
