Hi guys, what a hoot this thing is! and how cool does it look on the beach! I was surprised how much fun it was and it just looked the business! It reminded me of the FAV in it characteristics regarding handling with the back end power sliding under acceleration on the damp sand! and suspension was smooth enough but with a little bounce in the suspension to make it fun and entertaining and to be honest l don't think it needs oil shocks even though many say the standard friction shocks are terrible! But maybe on a different surface there flaws would be more obvious?
Anyway l hit the soft sand first for some pics then hit the damp sand to see what it had! Just super cool fun! Only problem is l have a nice clean up job now and on two cars lol...took my RX for company too!
Hope you like the pics.
Thanks for looking cheers James.
Update 8/12/21 proline slingshots are awesome on this! When we get some decent weather l will get some shots!

For sand, the friction shocks should be fine and I would think easier to clean up! October proving to be a good month for the beach!

Nice pictures! DT-02 is a solid perfomer, even in stock format. We are all spoiled grown ups now, yes all of us including myself. As a kid I drove my Grasshopper for over a year without bearings or oil shocks and I had the time of my life. Lot of us back then drove our RC's in stock format and really used them hard without any restraint, having loads of fun and some (as not most) of those cars even survived Yes I know, I'm getting old and all nostalgic.

Looks like you had a fun day at the beach ??and that first pic is GR8 you really nailed it.
I am seriously regretting selling my sand rover right now. Ho hum
I've been out of the hobby for a few years I kind of lost my mojo, but seeing you having a blast on the beach and some recent posts from Marc73 with his niceThunder Shots seems to be doing the trick !

Your HB has turned out great Jamo! The location for your pics is fantastic and the perfect place to run and enjoy these cars. They certainly have me missing my HB.
Thanks for the inspiration as always!
