Wild One Off-Roader Blockhead Motors
I'm so pleased to have got one of these! The early pre-order paid off. With the very limited numbers available I feel pretty lucky!
Interestingly this first batch has a different part number 58695-60A to signify that it comes with a Carson waterproof ESC and not the Tamiya TBLE-04S ESC (probably due to Worldwide chip shortages). It'll be nice to have the option of running a LiPo with it, and I guess it makes the kit a bit more unique. It looks like the UK and Europe get this Carson ESC, and the US market gets the Hobbywing 1060 ESC.

Awesome!!!!!!!!! Only thing l would prefer is the spot lights with decals on, if it was mine as not a fan of the yellow tint plastic glass! Plus l never drive in the dark so would not need the Lights lol. Great kit and love the fact its pre painted and the driver too! Wicked! This would be epic on the beach!

Thanks James. Yeah, not sure if I'll install LED lights in this one. Looking at the decal sheet, there's a couple of options for the spot lights. You can either stick on ones that make the clear Lexan look more like real lights, or you can stick on yellow ones that say BH, or not fit any decals ! I appreciate that the yellow and light blue won't be to everyone's taste of course. It would indeed be epic on the beach! This one might jump up the build queue as I can't stop looking at all the parts!!

Yeah buddy on the decal sheet tamiya have done a decent job and covered all the options well. I like the BH yellow spot light decals they would look mustard!! I love this version of the Wild One its very cool and fresh! A bit out of my budget for the moment but will try and pick one up in the near future! and agree mate get this to the top of the build list.....no painting don't forget...brilliant!

Yeah, no cutting, drilling, or painting! can't wait. I'm almost tempted to stay up all night and build it, but the wife will kill me!!

Congrats Phil!! It's a beautiful one!! I'm planning to get this as well. Tamiya Korea(TK) has received their first batch from Japan so I was just about get one myself but they also got another new model from Japan and told me I should get the other one first because TK thought it would sell out fast than this one. I will post the model shortly so you'll know what it is. And again, I will surely get this WO too!!

Hi Ben, thanks again. That sounds exciting! I'm trying to guess! The standard WO Off Roader or the TD4? I look forward to seeing it when you post it.

This kit is one of the coolest releases from Tamiya in a very long time IMO, hoping and praying to have my hands on one of these and a 45th Porsche before Christmas. Will be a couple nice presents for myself if it pans out my way
BubbaGump365
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you mtbkym01! Not many of these have found their way to the UK yet, and I think even fewer 45th Anniversary models, if any will make it here this year! I'd love a 45th Porsche if I can get one...

I just saw this model featured on RC Kicks YouTube channel. Never thought about them until now, but seems like they're impossible to get right now.

Hang in there GoFast80. They're hard to get now, but the batches will start flowing through...eventually! Good luck.
