Hi everyone,
This is my Kyosho/Cox Bandido.
I was lucky enough to buy this little gem recently. It's close to new built, probably only run for a few minutes if that.
It came to me almost complete, only missing a couple of things. I've given it a quick clean, painted and decaled the shell, painted the tyre lettering, and added a driver figure.
Thanks for looking!

I remember these back in the day, had a store catalogue cut out of it in my collection of all RC clippings I used to keep. Great example you have. Magic

Thanks mtbkym01, these buggies are a part of RC history and well worth preserving. I hope you still have your Kyosho Pegasus.

MP lovely find! I have always had a strange draw to the Pegasus its such an odd looking buggy but really cool too! I did not know about this version though l have to say! Looks fantastic! I love it and is this its original boxart and how it would look new?
Love the two spot lights and the red and yellow really pop! Also what awesome condition!
Nice one mate!

Nice one! I have one of these that I pieced together out of two trashed Bandidos and half an Icarus. Incredibly fun car to drive, very stable, similar to the Falcon, but more tail-happy. Someday I'd like to find a nice Icarus to clean up strictly for the shelf.

Thanks guys,
Hi Mad-Bee, it's fairly close to box art, except it would be a darker shade of yellow and have blacked out windows and no highlighted roll cage. I thought it deserves a bit more effort put into the details.
Hi Markbt73, I have watched a couple of videos of these running, they look fast and handle well. I hope you get your Icarus one day, I would also like to get an Icarus, I think they look fantastic!

Sure do Max Power, still sitting exactly original, will strip it down one day and give it a nice tidy up.

I look forward to hopefully seeing it resurrected soon, I love the look of the Pegasus.

Had a little look on line for this model and very interesting and the boxart is great but have to say MP yours looks way better with the little extra touches you added.

Thanks Mad Bee, These are one of those buggies that look better in the flesh than they do in photos. This buggy prompted me to renew my subscription, I didn't want to pack it away without sharing it first.

Yeah MP the buggy on the box looks not so pretty! But seens definitely not the case as can see by yours! Please you renewed too mate good to see you and your quality posts again!

You've done a great job on this quirky little buggy, well done!! I really like it, as I have a thing for the 'underdog' and more obscure buggies for sure. The wheels look spectacular thanks to the lettering you've done which really enhances their look.

Hi Ferruz, I know what you mean, high end buggies are undoubtedly great, but the entry level/underdogs can be just as special, just like that lovely Hornet of yours!

Very nice, the rear tyres unworn are very rare by themselves.

Hey mate, I recently came into possession of a shelf queen Bandido. The paint has a bit of flaking as its really old haha What colour/type of paint did you use for yours? BTW yours looks amazing, I built one of these in 87 as a young bloke hence the sentimentality.

Hi CosmicFTW,
I used Faskolor yellow, I think it's a bit brighter than the box art colour.
