Hotshot Blockhead Motors
I'm not really into showing off, and I don't have any ridiculously rare or expensive NIB kits in my showroom, but what I do enjoy doing sometimes is deviating away from Boxart, so I got thinking. I love my Wild One Off-Roader Blockhead Motors, and wouldn't it be great if Tamiya and Jun Watanabe released a Hotshot edition and this became a series.
If it did, it probably wouldn't look like this, but I decided to make my own Hotshot Blockhead Motors edition based on how I thought Tamiya would satin chrome plate and colour die the parts.
One photo really doesn't do it justice but that's all I can enter. You can just make out the number plates behind the rear wing custom cut from offcuts of body shells! The whole car is stock and built from a brand new kit.

Looks great!!! Where did u get second decal sheet?
BubbaGump365
Thanks Finnsllc. I saw it on eBay and bought it just after I received my Wild One BHM. There was only one available and I thought I'd get it as a backup in case I screwed up the decals on the WO!! I didn't thankfully, but it got me thinking about how I could put it to good use....
scollins

Thanks James. Yeah I know, the Wild One is special. Thought I'd put it in the background as a reference to compare the Hotshot against.

Hi Ben, yeah you're right, I did put a lot of work into the car. Most of which you can't see with just the one photo angle! Thanks again for your kind words. It was a lot of fun to do.
That looks awesome!
Can you please tell me which blue it is?
BubbaGump365
Thanks. Yeah it's PS-3 Light Blue.

ducatikid
Really hope you don't mind but I'm going to do a similar thing with my Super Hot Shot. Can I ask where you got the decals from?
BubbaGump365
No worries ducatikid. I'll take it as a compliment! They came up on eBay (I guess from someone breaking a Wild One Blockhead Motors kit). There was only one available, so I got it as a backup for my Wild One BHM, but didn't need to use it. Then I had the idea with the Hotshot, and came up with what you see here. If you can't find a Wild One BHM decal sheet anywhere, then you can buy Blockhead Motors decals from their site, and you would be able to come up with something not too far off this. Good luck!
