Owned from new
I've got a real history with this falcon. It was given to me as a Christmas present in about 1986 after I pestered my parents for it for what seemed like months. I drove the wheels off it and not long after it was new I added a black sprint motor. I raced it at the Liverpool round of the Beatties Tamiya challenge but I remember it failed on me when a drive shaft kept popping out over a whoop section. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I kept it but it got forgotten about for many years when I decided to restore it. I haven't on purpose put a new body on it as I love it the way it is, it's imperfections and damage add to its charm.

Looking great! And cool retro race photos too!
I love the Falcon and yours is a great example, awesome that you kept it all this time. Also impressed that way back then you took the time to paint the black under the wing just like it's meant to be in the manual. Lots of kids (me included) just painted it red BITD because it was easier
The Falcon was my first RC so will always hold a special place in my heart also. Nice work mate. Kurt.
