The Golden Arrow a decent basic buggy and l am sure l had one at some point in my RC timelime but just can't quite remember its too foggy but somehow seeing this opens up a few vague memories?? Iol my mind is as sharp as a spoon these days! Iol 49 in June so getting some rust now! Cheers mate.
Thanks Madbee, they get a lot of respect from many people, and rightly so. Not quite hobby grade but so very close. 49 years young, I'm not far behind mate, my kids are starting to make fun of their 'old man'.
Got my fist rc car, a lamborghini, from Radio Shack. Never forget the excitement when I found out about Tamiya and the Super Champ that could go offroad.
Great cars, built from the Nikko F10 chassis, some of the parts say Nikko.
Easily as advanced as the grasshopper, just without easy to source spares or the availability to easily swap out parts. When Nikko first made these spares were available, I'm sure they wanted one foot in the Hobby Grade game, but I'm sure they then made all the £££££ on the Turbo Hoppers etc.
