I have never owned a Traxxas before and felt it's about time I got one to have a bash with and to me in my mind it had to be a Stampede! Simple tough 2wd Monster design can pop wheelies and its not silly money and the Stampede is a bit of a classic name in the RC hobby! Comes with a Titan 12t motor, This monster should be fun on the beach l imagine? Time will tell! I ordered the wheelie bar too thats now fitted (see 2nd to last pic) any Traxxas tips welcome as l am a complete rookie with Traxxas and comments welcome as always. Thanks for looking cheers James.

Took it out to the garden for a quick test run today absolutely brilliant great fun can't wait to get to the beach ASAP!!

Have fun with it Madbee, my only suggestion with my limited experience, is to put a bit of oil on all the chrome hardware after the beach runs, as it rusts easily.

Nice purchase mate! I have a monster jam variant of the same truck (different wheels and body, have a look in my showroom) and they take a beating! I don't think I've had mine on the beach, but they are great jumpers and lots of fun to sling sideways. Just be aware the motors will eventually lose power after a year or so and wear out, but they are cheap and cheerful ??

If you do get into salt water don't wait 48 hours to completely disassemble and rinse, clean and relubricate. I did just that with both mine and my sons 4x4 vxl and had most bearings stuck and had to replace them. But they are a hoot to drive on the beach ??
I like working on Tamiya's and Kyosho's but not so on Traxxas's.

The Stampede has been around for a while which is surly testament to how tough they are!! Have fun at the beach, the Seagulls won’t know what hit ‘em.

Haha no birds will be harmed! Re-Bugged l think that's another reason l got this mate apart from it being a tough fun truck! The Stampede name has some historical value behind it! Its a bit of a classic you could say!
