An ongoing project. GCM Skeleton chassis, JK hardbody. I love this truck, just struggle to get it finished and running well. The only Tamiya parts are the motor mount screws!
What doesn't need doing? ! The shocks need rebuilding, the pinion isn't meshing properly, the motor is pressing on the servo. I've stripped a screw head so that needs drilling out and it needs a proper battery tray for the 2S that actually fits under the load cover I made (you can just make out the 3S in the photo that nearly fills the interior!). The sills also needs some chequerplate to hide where I reconstructed them and the front body mount broke when the body bounced off the concrete garage floor. I'm sure there's more...
