80s iconic buggies never grows old.
Truly one of my favorite buggies of all time. First ever Tamiya buggy to have the full covered aircraft cockpit. The look, the stance, the yellow shocks and a very fast buggy at that time.
My Thundershot is based on 2020 Terra Scorcher chassis. Changed to front monoshock. Upgraded with Xtra speed front and rear lower suspension arm holder ( a must). Wheels and tires from the Super Hotshot for the extra bling. Box-art Bodyshell TBG, Decals MCI. Lastly, driver helmet from Tamiya's cockpit series.
One of the best looking buggies from Tamiya.

Stunning dr Roberts looks fantastic! My personal favourite looking tamiya 4wd is the Hotshot and can't be beaten in my opinion but the Thundershot was definitely a very worthy successor and obviously a slight step up in performance and hands down the best looking of the new group back then with the terra scorcher just behind it that's a smart looking buggy too!
Dr Roberts did you think about adding the wing?? I know it gets mixed opinion but must admit l like the wing!
Anyway great job this looks stunning and Super Hotshot wheels look fantastic on it!

Absolutely beautiful, the helmet is a nice addition.

Thanks for the comments guys. @ MAD-BEE, i’ve always like the ThunderShot without the rear wing. That wing to me looks like an after thought from Tamiya and the styling is a bit off in my opinion. A marmite situation.
