1986 Porsche 959 Rally Paris Dakar

I found the chassis in German eBay classifieds for a really good price. The downside was it was 330km away. However it was a bargain for 250        Euros so I went and drove almost 7 hours round trip to pick up the chassis. It came with a M01 Mini Cooper body and slick tires. About a month later I found a body kit on eBay which was mostly original (except driver heads and interior plate). Now I'm looking forward to build this beauty. The chassis I already stripped and cleaned it properly. Funny enough I was missing some parts but had a 959 press parts bag in my stash for 20 years. It came with a random parts loot back in the days. I'm really excited about this overall project. I think every Tamiya lover has a heart for this kit.
