Got this Kingcab for 50Euro and decided to give it a full service.

As I knew about the issues with the gearbox and my gearbox case was broken anyway I've been looking for a solution when user Sgt.Speirs came up with a beautiful TRF201 style gearbox including a slipper clutch based on all Tamiya parts and some custom parts done by Shapeways. Gave the ride a new body and new shocks, new tires and already enjoyed some nice rides in warm and dry winter days.

Many thanks to Sgt.Speirs for sharing this great solution. Even it is not cheap, it works brilliant and provides you great fun riding this special truck.
