The Tamiya Avante 2001 was released in 1990. Since then all the other Avante series cars except the Avante 2001 have been re-released. Hence it is highly collectable. I've been collecting parts over the years for this custom build. The parts chosen are to replicate and also strengthen the car as I intend to use this as a runner.
