Beach Bum Willy
This is my interpretation of a Wild Willy ready for the sand dunes.
The chassis was extensively modified with a 3d printed turtleback that is attached to a cut down WR-02 to create what I've called the WR-03. It is deliberately lower which helps with the handling.
On this particular model I deleted the front inner fenders to show off a custom Ford V8 up front with the air filter poking through the bonnet.
The development of this project can be found here on Tamiyaclub: https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?/topic/99033-wild-willy%E2%80%99s-3d-printing-adventure-by-nicherotors/&page=8

Wow!!! That's incredible!

Looks great and very sand buggy racer-like. Much more purposeful with the body sitting that low!

Thanks for the feedback - this is my current favourite; was a bit worried about putting enough white primer on to hide the green without clogging up the details but in the end was quite happy with the result

Spectacular result! That engine and the detailing are aces.
