Beach Bum Willy

This is my interpretation of a Wild Willy ready for the sand dunes.

The chassis was extensively modified with a 3d printed turtleback that is attached to a cut down WR-02 to create what I've called the WR-03. It is deliberately lower which helps with the handling.

On this particular model I deleted the front inner fenders to show off a custom Ford V8 up front with the air filter poking through the bonnet.

4 Ready for some summer time fun ... 3 The Bobcat body provided the inspiration ... 1 as did the V8 up front. 1 The WR-02 donor chassis is cut ... 1 to create a WR-03 chassis. 1 Chose to make the optional engine. 3 Engine has many parts that are easy to paint ... 3 and is visible without the front inner fenders. 1 Body had diamond plate added to more 3d parts ... 2 that are painted silver ... 1 including a firewall that incorporates a footwell. 1 Makes a change from the military schemes ... 1 and sits much lower on modified chassis. 1 Used 3d printed tools to cut clean round hole. 1 1 3 1 2 2

Looks great and very sand buggy racer-like. Much more purposeful with the body sitting that low!

Thanks for the feedback - this is my current favourite; was a bit worried about putting enough white primer on to hide the green without clogging up the details but in the end was quite happy with the result
