This is my toughest work so far,
I started with the HPI BMW 2002 turbo body and decided I wanted to pay tribute to the classic BMW M1 BASF which is one of my favorite liveries of all time.

The livery was designed by myself, it is a mix of machine-cut vinyl for the spirals and white polyester adhesive paper for the decals
The original HPI body has a flat front grille and light buckets decal, I didn't like it and decided to do my own light buckets.

Wheels are tamtech gear with 60D.

The internal roll cage is made with aluminum bars, glued with epoxy, it was so difficult!! The next one will be styrene bars for sure.
I still have to print and apply the driver decals and improve the rear light buckets as the transparent ones supplied by HPI are too transparent.

It's mounted on an XPRESS XM1S chassis.
Happy to answer any questions.
