A local Marketplace find

I love scouting Facebook for local Tamiyas, many are stored in lofts or roof spaces here in the UK and come up for sale often.
This one was such a find. The guy had owned it from new and it was complete with box, manual, collectors card and even better had never really been used, The chassis was unmarked. We agreed on a fair price, I loaded it into my Mini and it came to its new home.
The stickers were lifting a few in places and I was still wanting one with unpainted lights, so when I NIB Monte Carlo body set came up for an eye watering price I went for it, selling off this body to offset the price somewhat.
All I just needed to pluck up the courage to open it and get the spray cans out!
