I happen to know a very lucky gentleman who owns not one, but TWO real Tyrrell P34.

Of course after seeing and hearing the real cars up close I decided to buy this kit. It's powered by the same Ruddog 21.5 brushless motor as my other F103 and fitted with several upgrades (F104 rear axle and aluminium rear pod, TRF damper, .04 module gears,  €œhigh torque € servo saver and stronger steering arms). The wheels and rubber tyres are for display only; the fronts are actually a NOS set made for the original kit #58003 released in 1977, while the rears are mounted onto custom 3D printed wheels.
I run the car occasionally on the kit foam tyres. I have been told by the owner of the real cars (who also has this kit) that it drives very faithfully compared to the full size one. Compared to a regular RC F1 chassis it is heavier, but has much better turn-in thanks to its better weight balance, with more weight towards the front. The only real negative is the extremely limited front suspension: compared to a normal F103, the front springs are half the length. I would say it is perfectly raceable if fitted with a lexan body set.
