Robbe SG Coyote restored
Greetings from Germany!
I couldn't resist when I saw this Coyote in bad shape but cheap enough - even though I had the model already (see related model). I still like the design and esp. the old NiCads...
Not sure the photos fit very well in here...more less an iphone test ..
I still believe even though it was an S.G. car, that it was distributed by robbe in the 80ies. If anybody has the robbe catalog from 1987 (?) picture with the design I would be interested to see that...

Thanks for the comment. Indeed the battery split is nice and esp. with the vintage cells, reminding us how low the capacitiy was in former times. The suspension feels not so bad, looks nearly like a laydown design, but it is very fragile - would be impossible to run it on a modern track with the many jumps...

Ich hatte das Modell damals besessen, es war definitiv von Robbe. Es gab damals nämlich am Anfang noch ein Serienfehler, die antriebswellen sind während der Fahrt. Wenn das Fahrzeug ausgefedert hat rausgefallen ??
Ich hatte die da noch zu Robbe geschickt, die hatten sie mir dann verlängert.
Ich fand das dein Ding richtig geil, mit stoßdämpferöl experimentiert, sündhaft teuren elektronischen Fahrtregler sowie ein kugelgelagerter Rennmotor.....war damals schon für mich zumindestens großes Kino

Thank you for this, i remember this car and the catalog from the 80s very well as a was a kid and this car was my wish for chrismas.
The pictures of this car looked so cool, it was kind of white and orange with these cool wheels.
In the end i got my beloved Narui Ninja that was way less complicated but the Coyote is still in my memorys. So cool that you got one congrats!
