reconfigured and rebodied Tamiya QD!
I picked up a cheap Tamiya Focus QD from eBay in August and decided to upgrade it with actual radio gear (old-school stick-style transmitter/receiver!) and a standard stick pack, Slow but don't really care as I built this to be fun to low at and cruise around without damage to this awesome Audi Quattro bodyset. The 2WD QD chassis had a perfect front bumper that accommodates this Quattro body really well. A fun one to paint and decal then add door shut lines. The pre-painted Focus bodyset that came on this chassis originally was used on a TT-02 chassis. For now I stole the right hand drive interior from another car in my collection for these photos but I plan to fully detail a proper rally interior set with driver and co-driver. Pics to follow as an update when that is complete as well as some action shots in the grit! scollins
