Super Clod Buster Red
A classic monster truck ~ The Tamiya Clodbuster. We put this paint on last summer inspired by the original 1987 model. The building steps didn't take long but we picked it up and put it down over the year. A few painting photos show how we used tape and sticky tack to paint the stripes and keep the mold lines from running paint. In time it might get a few decals and adjustments to the standard set up.

Another nice build Cameron! Great job! I like that you did an '87 inspired colour scheme. I did a similar thing with a Super Clod over the summer, but painted the body metallic blue and used MCI vintage Clod decals. This has reminded me to upload to my showroom sometime!

Thank you! I look forward to seeing the metallic blue version. I have MCI vintage Clod decals and other old sponsor sheets to play with. I enjoy capturing it in it original state before more of life happens to its story.

Oh man I so miss my Clods!! Replacement cost is crazy though these several years later. Great job, good to see the steps taken.

Thank you! I know what you mean. I recently looked into replacement parts and by the time I added up a few things it was cheaper to buy a whole kit.
