Anytime Baby!
Many years ago, I think I was around 9 or 10, the hornet was my second experience of Tamiya RC after the Quick Drive Thunder Dragon. My brother actually purchased it from a friend so it was already built and ready to go. I couldn't believe how much more powerful it was to my QD thunder dragon. I never stopped playing with it. We only had a slow charger too !! Those memories never left me and even though I have a re release hornet, I wanted to find something original.
I snapped up a bundle on eBay which included a buggy, controller, box, and a Beattie's Bag!! Don't think we had a Beatties shop in Northern Ireland but as it matches my surname I feel obligated to own one 😆
A great find anyway, the seller said that it was all owned by his grandfather. I am feeling old.
I touched up the paint a little, but that's all. It runs well and most importantly always puts a smile on my face. A keeper.

Oh thats awesome mate! The Hornet is a fave of mine also. Great bundle there and love the litwrature as well.

Re-Re’s are great for that nostalgic feeling, but there ain't nothing like owning an original. Looks in great condition too
