Thunder Dragon, Custom

This is a custom Tamiya Thunder Dragon. It originally came built from RC Evologic in Australia with the original box art body and many nice additional parts. See the list below. I decided to dial back the electrics, install a Sport Tuned Motor, ESC, then I upgraded to the TT-02 drive shaft and Super Shot drive shaft cups. Tamiya Legends has a great YouTube video on how to do this. https://youtu.be/sj4k5gjP3Kg
The body art I painted reminds me of the space ships I saw on TV and movies as a kid in the 1980s. I used a few of the standard decals in box art and non-box art places.
I used sticky tack on the drive face with a scrap piece of reflective material cut to fit. The driver head came from the Tamiya G Parts Tree Wild One # 9006988. I painted the driver body with colors that could could pass for a race buggy or space ship, in my imagination at least.
Front and Rear RC Evologic gearbox braces
-> I also installed their G5 'Gold Edition' upgrade for the rear dampers.
-> Their G4 'Gold Edition' upgrade for the front dampers does not fit this body without removing more of the front body to clear the tower.
Servo - Savox SW0231MG, waterproof, metal geared, 15kg torque
Shocks - Tamiya DF03 Aluminium Damper Set 54993
Full sealed ball bearings
Not Used:
Motor - Tamiya Brushless 10.5T Sensored
Receiver - FutabaR314SB-E, 4 channel with built in antenna
ESC - Tamiya TBLE-04SR (Racing)
If anyone has a suggestion for what Tamiya RC kit the Brushless 10.5T motor would go well with let me know.

Thank you! I look forward to running it in the Spring. Since the other body shells in this chassis series fit I may try those on too.
