Willy's custom Type 2

I bought this kit in 2015 on a trip to Canada with my wife. I built it soon after and painted the body in park green and white. The Green didn't work out well so I bought another body kit. It sat built with the custom wheel set from Louise RC (I think they are also sold under the Duratrax brand). Built up with CVA's and bearings, and a custom painted Willy. As the green body was a bit rough, I bought a chassis kit through Buyee to build a Basher (Last pic). That motivated me to paint the spare body which I decided to reverse the livery. Wrapped how this one turned out. As always, comments most welcome

This VW Willy always brings a smile to me. I hope these get re issued again. It’s nice to see the two different colors.
