Just bought off ebay for £340 (plus import tax !) Looks hardly used, as the original tyres are good, save a few flat spots I can push out with foam (or any good suggestions you guys and girls have please ?). I have a new shell and decals on order from MCI and TBG. I'll post pictures post renovation, but the drive train and diffs feel OK. Hopefully no hidden nightmares. This is the Si version, so has an MSC and is supposed to have a Mabuchi RX 540 VZ motor, but I don't think the motor in this car is correct as its black with no markings on the side I can see. I'll whip it out and take a look soon!

I used to have a MID-4, was new built and never run. Sold many years ago, and still regretting !!

Don't feel bad, its taken me over 20 years to get a Mid 4 and Invader with decent all original tyres and rims. Had to import it from Italy, so cost another £97 in Tax and import duty, but still a good buy I think at £440 ish total. As I say, I'll post the completed renovation, but it only looks like it needs a clean and possibly a new bearing set.
