This car is one of the few ones which I never had the occasion to own or drive as a kid. I just had the opportunity to get it for 120Euros (was $90 back then) complete (except for bumper and mirors) with 2 vintage radios and 2 vintage battery packs. Funny enough, I had this nice deal the day of my birthday ...

I love the color scheme, obviously the owner applied the white/baby blue color to the body paintwork instructions related to the orange / red sand scorchers. The result is fairly nice, unique in some ways but still compliant with the "body paintwork etiquette" (or not?)

I recently bought the shock refurbishing kit (thanks mjp130), nib bumper (thanks autovision), new tapping screws, new switch, new circuit breaker. Then restored the gearbox using my own polytrol technique (see Theo's temple - infos section for a detailed explanation ), built some softer tortion bars, started preparing a mould for the side mirors, and that's where I am basically

As of June 24th (my birthday / purchase date) A few (expensive) parts later ... The restored gearbox (see my polytrol tip)
