This was my first Ghopper and my second Tamiya car. Fought in many a demolition derby and perfected the art of performing barrel rolls down the slopeing driveway at work. For a while it had a Dynatech 02H installed (now in a Boomerang). Has a Pumpkin bumper (reinforced with duct-tape) and had a rear bumper 'flap' bolted on the rear wing to protect the rear end during the derbies.
You should see the Pajero it fought against! (see under Misc). Suffering from a flat spot on the left front tyre at the moment.

Update 20.8.04 Taken out of retirement and back on active duty. The front tyres have been replaced and it regularly tears up the gravel on the driveway and out on to the street to run circles around the kids QD thundershot. My kids and a number of the neighbours kids give it a run too. Damn tough little buggy!

Call that a bumper? This is a bumper! Rear flap is off at the moment Strategic blobs of hotmelt to protect during rolls Patches, more hotmelt The guts.

That bumper is great. Glad you don't have a driver in the there... I don't think he would be able to see though all the duct tape. I love it, Fantastic
