All that is clod about this set up is the gear boxes. Rim are from a Bullhead and then everything else is non Tamiya

New Era Chassis, ThunderTech bumpers, servo mounts and wheel wideners and Imex tires.
I thought I would have a go at building one cheap, based on picking up the main chassis frame as part of another deal. By the time you've added all the other bits an bobs, its still ends up costs you a fortune. Must be one of the biggest money pits going, as the finished product is very rarely worth the cost of the bits you put on it.
Not sure what the benefits of the cantelevers on the shocks is and I may remove it and go with the simple appraoch but it sure does look cool.

Many thanks to all those that helped out expecially TamiyaBeaterFleet, or got me all those hard to find little bits that fit in the gear boxes.

Got a stack of shells to try out... more pictures when I've finished it off.

Great looking truck, lost count of the times I've looked into getting an after market chassis. Mines still stockish for now but don't know if I can hold out forever! Great looking collection by the way.
