This would be a dream come true ;)
Sadly it's just something I made with Photoshop...
Where did you buy this thing? Pls reply
Where did you buy this thing(FJ40 4X4)? Pls reply
I made it using Adobe Photoshop from the pictures you see, it's not a real kit - unfortuneatly...
That is some tight photoshop work. What filters did you use to get that look.
Nice job! congratulations,
Seems you are the man to ask, what Tamiya colour would you suggest is closest to the actual Toyota blue you have pictured. I want to paint the HPI FJ40 body for my Monster Beetle conversion of same?? Thanks for the pics, I am building this blue coloured kit for a good friend, in fact, he was my best man at my wedding.
I have gotten scared!! my dream comes true! have breathed when have read that is a makeup of photoshoop! this is my dream, I have three true BJ42! (the diesel version calls in this way instead that FJ) here because my name is onlybj42, look in my page of the site my bj auto built is a beautiful to see! certainly with the loom bruiser and the hard body and detailed as is the toyota hilux is another planet, I am satisfied me! best regards Daniel From Italy (onlybj42)
Daniel, I also have a 1:1 BJ42 (1982 dune beige) and I think it the coolest car ever! If you check out my showroom you`ll see my FJ40/ Bruiser conversion - the pictures are not updated, I`ve added some more details to it now.
Blushing as I don't ever recall if I asked you to borrow your photo for inspirations and later posting.
No problem Crash Cramer, feel free to use it!
four years later, now Tamiya finally does a Fj40 kit... sweet!
It is not a dream anymore, as this is now a Tamiya kit!!! You were right on the money with your Photoshop work here!
You are the Nostradamus of Tamiya Simen!
Great attention to detail - love the 'old transistorised speed controller' and the number plate!
I'd love an FJ40...a real one, But alas, here in the UK, they don't exist!
