Bashed and Bruised and Battered Baja
This was my first car for a long long long long time. Bought last year and built (admittedly) in a hurry - body shell wise. Everything else is sound.
Fully ballraced, ESC, Quick release batt, flu aerial, Sport tuned motor - and it flies! This gets flipped and bashed and scraped every weekend, but not failed me yet. Took penny sized chunk out of the chassis below front diff, but the bottom is now coated in black electrical tape (neatly trimmed), which is protecting well.
Painted wheels silver and added blue nuts. Oil shocks to get and a motor upgrade (freeing the Sport tuned for my KBF), and I'm happy - if the thing lasts that long!
Update - Fitted Tamiya Super Stock S motor and this thing really really flies now- wasnt sure it had made that much difference, until I tried a sharp turn at full tilt (something which was a breeze before), Car flipped, cartwheeled on its side, smashed rear dogbone and cracked the chassis.... New bits on their way, and probably some oil shocks. I like the fact that Im gonna have to learn how to drive this over again. Only used to slowing on corners for my KBF!
Acquired an RC10 copy shell which I think looks quite nice as a spare
Fitted schumacher tyres all round too
