I ve always wanted one of these Chevron bodies and managed to get a few imported into the country :-). The only problem was that they are 200mm wide and most Tamiya touring cars are 190mm :-(.

The classis started off as a TA01, added the front arms off a TA02(50649 F parts) and the front drive shafts, also off the TA02(50643) to make my own TA01W :-). Put some 5 spoke 2 piece wheels on to get the width to 200mm. I think it goods great, what do you think?

Very nice! Don't know if it's just me but I'd say this body's proportions look better than the tamiya shell. IMO the 037 on TA-03 seems to have too short a wheelbase and too long a front overhang.

WOW looks like a proper rally car.

Very nice, as pushrod said, the original tamiya one is far too small, the Real 037 is a big car beleive it or not. This seems closer to the real size of the car. You should try and get the Tamiya 037 Wheels and use wide drive shafts to get the wheels to fit. very nice though.

Thanks for the comments guys. Jimmy, I know what your saying about the wheels but I modelled mine on the one in the bottom pic (pic6 added for comments)

Hey, that looks aweome! Much closer to the original (regarding proportions) than Tamiya shell. And 200mm width fits perfectly to my HPI rally car. Can you please let us know where to order?
