Had this for ages now - built it from new last Christmas I think, but somehow never got around to adding it to my showroom. Been experimenting with it recently that made me remember :)

First of I took the original wheels and tires off it for my TLT, so it seemed only fair to fit my TLT wheels to my Willy 2. I'm pleased with the result :) makes the whole thing look even more like the originally willy.

Smaller wheels means I could lower the body by quite a bit all of which should help lower the center of gravity and make it even more fun to drive.

Also 'upgraded' the wheelie bar with some aeroplane wheels which makes it much less prone to penguin wobble when doing wheelies.

All in all I'm quite pleased.

The lower stance suits it How did you adapt the front wheels/axles (presumably the TLT-1 ones have hexes)?

Put a couple of plastic bushes on the axle then a bearing (fits nice in to Hex hole) then the wheel then another bearing for luck. It works surprisingly well with very little wobble.

Those aircraft wheels are a good idea, I might try that on my Pumpkin.
