Originally inspired by shodog`s amazing 4wd beetle, this body cost me a lot of time and frustration, see separate story on showroom..
It does actually look pretty good on the chassis but from some angles the cut down arches are noticeable... it has yet to be finished though, number plates to go on and looking for some spots to put on roof (anyone got any?) plus this shell is destined for my modified chassis, which will have twin rear shocks, mip gearcase, wide front end, crp arms all round, crp nerf bars and custom rear cage... should take a couple of months yet to finish... what do people think of the rear tires? I might still go with Rough rider rears as they add realism but these fill the cut down arches better...

MIP Gearcase!! YUMMMY! Have you been talking to that Jim again?
Shaping up real nice VJ and I agree about RR rears, rims look great too.
Volksrod
i think that looks ace mate, only thing id change is to shave the front arches to more of a point at the front, so it kinda blends into the nose a bit more. other than that cant fault it, excellent paint work and very realistic. top job!
RENKEN 2000
nice painting,is it a rainbow scorcher.
the car looks really good, i would only fit RR rear wheels with fat aftermarket tires.
