The colour change
Photos to show the flipflop colour of Berties new shell.
Thanks to Andy (Twinset) for sending me the shell FOC, finally got around to filling/sanding it down (well Wireless did).
The shell was sent up to Gerbil at TVR, who after failing to get the Kandy Apple Red to stick - invented a new colour from spare purple and green and came up with this colour and called it...Absolute Purpleen.
Dead subtle.
He also painted Wireless's Clod at the same time.
Photos don't do the paint scheme justice even with Roops amazing photoraphy skills. :)

Awesome colour, and invented for the shell - how trick is that!

It does look very nice in the sun. You get to see the metal flake in the paint too which doesn't show on the photos. A bit more filing, install that new glass, headlight assemblies and tail-lights and you're done.

Thanks Rich...I was really impressed when I got it back...I did worry what colour it would be knowing TVR as I do.

Dunno if I am going to put the bits and bobs on. Don't forget they are silver as the flipflop colour wouldn't show up on such a small area.

Fantastic colour! nice to have friends in high places, it would seem a shame to put decals on it
