Ok, getting close now and though I'd take some pics and post of my dream Tamiya 3spd. As they never made one I did it myself.

I took one of my Bruisers, took it apart and cleaned it real good - rebuildt it and mounted some Jugg springs and Monster Truck damper houses to match the extra height of the leafs. Part from that only the rear body post, it a stock Bruiser Chassis. The body is made by Pro-Line and is lexan (which I really do not like - lexan that is, with it lack of detail). I fitted the Bruiser interior, perfect match, which I think gives the body better depth and scale look.

I tried it real quick indoors today after fitting the radio gear to see that it was all good, and man I was surprised by the speed of this heavy ol' thang - I've never ever driven a 3spd before, so I can't wait to take it outdoors!

Well done. The body looks great for a lexan one. I like the Landcriser too and I will get myself such a body.

Ha, very cool, I never have messed with the old 3 speeds for fear of the hobby getting even more expensive! I do admit this is my favorite type of truck in real life. They are solid trucks sort of like a heavy duty Jeep but much more nimble than a big Hummer back in the woods or on moutain trails. Good idea for the interior, I might have to look on ebay!
