Possibly the quickest TL01B,...ever? The first upgrade after the usual ali prop, ( Tamiya ) ball race set shocks etc. was to fit a decent servo saver. We used the Trick bits SS along with Schumacher titanium turnbuckles which transformed the handling and striaghtline stability. Then, after much research we invested in the latest brushless technology, A Kontronik Twist 47 motor ( 4700rpm/volt sensorless ) and a Schulze U Force 75 ESC. This can control unlimited turns Brushed and up to 100A brushless, can be configured using DIL switches or via PC link, is fully waterproof and has full protection circuitry.
Running GP 3300 SHCR 6 cells this will happily achieve 47mph for hours on end. With 9 cells, so far we are getting just under 60mph, achieved in around 2 seconds, pls see video. Please contact me for further details of how to get hold of this awesome setup.

The Dirt Hawgs don't last long! The power plant The TL01 is handy for running 9 cells

That truly is a mental baja, nice work bringing to life a normally bland car

Astounding speed figures there, I'm amazed the gearbox can take it! It could certainly show some of the racing types a thing or 2, until you break the suspension mounts of course Nice work!
