Juggernaut3 Aluminium chassis
i broke my juggernaut top chassis rail ( the plastic bit) around all four shock mounting holes
the only alternative was to make a new one from off the shelf aluminium section
these are the results
I made the side rails from 20mm x 10mm channel section, the front and rear plates are made from 40mm x 10mm angle section cut and bent and the shock outer supports are also made from the angle section
wieght is about the same but the strength is greatly improved
front corner
rear corner
outer shock bracket

I like it. It takes away that nasty plastic look which the Jugg is known for. Looks like a monster true monster truck now. Suprising what a little bit of fabrication can do to your truck. Why Pay loads of money for something that you can make yourself..

Looks very stout Peter, nicely done.

Great work, looks far stringer than the original and I always like to see lots of real metal in a truck!
