i broke my juggernaut top chassis rail ( the plastic bit) around all four shock mounting holes

the only alternative was to make a new one from off the shelf aluminium section

these are the results

I made the side rails from 20mm x 10mm channel section, the front and rear plates are made from 40mm x 10mm angle section cut and bent and the shock outer supports are also made from the angle section

wieght is about the same but the strength is greatly improved

I like it. It takes away that nasty plastic look which the Jugg is known for. Looks like a monster true monster truck now. Suprising what a little bit of fabrication can do to your truck. Why Pay loads of money for something that you can make yourself..

Great work, looks far stringer than the original and I always like to see lots of real metal in a truck!
