Got this one on eBay too.(do I buy from anywhere else?) Bit of a saga though. When I looked at the listing,I saw what appeared to be a TL01 copy chassis supplied with everything included to run it,brand new in the box, shipped from hong kong, delivered to my door for less than £60.Ok,lets have a bit of that.It arrived, with the obligatory pick up shell, looked smart enough so I charged it and gave it a try.Horrendous crunching from the drive train and a buzzing from the CPR(!) unit reminiscent of an arc welder. To work then.Changed every drive component for original tamiya bits.Fixed?no.Gave it to Biggus to have a look, changed Cpr and motor.Fixed?no.Sat around and scratched head for a couple of weeks.Found an original TL01 chassis courtesy of one of Rich's contacts.Measured chassis against what we had.Ah Ha! original chassis 2mm longer than a standard TL01.Changed chassis.Result? Possibly the most mental 4wd truck thing I've ever seen.It will wheelie forwards, backwards and probably on the sides too! So,what we have now is a TL01 main chassis and components with extended arms and shafts of dubious origin, fitted with a carson shell and a distinctly odd CPR unit.Does it work?Hell Yes!

The end result of a ground up rebuild ST'ed and ready to go! Like a Lunchbox but not quite as cool

Quite happy with my work, look forward to it being driven hard with that shell on! The ST clan grows LOL.

Yes indeed. If not for lots of work by Biggus, there was a distinct danger of this one either being dropped from a heli or stripped for bits
