Thanks to Ford Ranger Man for this thing, came as you see in the last photo. Rally scheme was Moosey's idea. First mod was to cut the arches, they have been opened up about 2mm all the way round, next came pajero wheels/tires, then i decided they looked a bit weedy as the body overhung them at the sides. Found a pack of 10 3-spoke wheels NIP on ebay for 2.99 BIN(cheers victor101car), ended up using 2 for each wheel, one standard, other had the centre removed and glued straight onto the edge of the complete wheel. Standard pajero tires were stre-e-e-etched over the 2 rims and glued on. Rear ladder is scratchbuilt from square section plastic, with welding rod inside to keep it in shape on the bends. Fuel cans are from a holiday buggy, 2 spotlights and a custom front bumper were on but these didnt last long when i ran into me leg while testing in the bedroom :( Rear diff needs to be locked yet, but apart from that the performance is fine.

Thanks to mud4fun for the spare tire. How it arrived

There should be a 'how to guide' on doing this kind of thing. I have to say thank you for posting this as it is so inspiring. What a top job you all have done. My g/friend saw the first pic and thought it was real as fantastic it is to see something as good as that Honda its also so frustrating because I struggle to paint a lexan shell in plain black

That looks brilliant - I see what you mean about getting some mud on em! I'll have to get my Subaru muddy - Only you could think of doing that to the wheels

It looks absolutely stunning joe. I don't know which is more artistic, your cars or your photography. Either way, you are very talented! Keep up the good work, chap!

WOW, got to be the best XC on the site. Well done mate. First pic looks so realistic that me and wife thought it WAS real!!! Excellent work. That rook rack and ladder look fantastic, the ropes holding the cargo in place just makes thje perfect finishing touch to the realistic 'scale' look. Love it.

Good to see some original thinking, especially as well done as this. Great scenery as well although some sand may be in order for that authentic Paris-Dakar look Think you may have inspired me to spend some money on a new Pajero shell!

This is just Great! Your Honda seems to be 1:1. If it had a winch at the front it would be really difficult to bealive it's a r/c.
