I recently got hold of this Wrangler by trading for it with my good friend Wilfrid ( Tamiya01478 ) And boy, does he drive a hard bargain! But anyone thinking of entering in to a trade with him can do so with complete confidence, he's a 110% nice guy! I seem to 'have a thing' about 4x4 agricultural type vehicles, perhaps this is because I'm a farmers boy?!! This Wrangler came with a new body set which Wilfrid had painted in green. He's made a fine job of it, just that I'd sooner have it red! So I have a new set of decals on the way and will start to strip the body soon. I will update with other pics when I've finished it. Wilfrid also included a spare body which will be fine for use as a runner. (Told you he is a nice bloke!) Also, I must say a big thank you to Oscar (il maligno)from Italy for the brand new Wheels and Tyres. ##############UP DATE################## I have sent the body off to steve309, for a real pukka strip and respray. Take a look at his showroom, and you'll soon see why I begged him to do the work for me! I'll do a full up date when Steve returns the finished body to me.
### Up Date ###
Steve has now returned the Jeep body to me, and it has left me speechless.. The quality of his work is AWESOME! The body really is as good as it looks, flawless. This is a true case of the pictures not doing the item justice. Needless to say, this beauty is staying on the shelf!
A Thousand Thankyou's Steve, You really are a credit to the Tamiyaclub.
