Yippee, Got a rollbar and spotlights now and decals on my new paint job. Looks excellent. Got a box, brand new bechanical speed controller, an exploded diagram,a few bits and pieces and an excellent copy of the manual (thanks to supergreg for that).

Greg, tires (or tyres ) are 10.5 cm's diameter x 8 cm's wide. Hope this helps.

I thought I'm the only one trying to restore my old Big Bear. After short google search this seems not to be the case But I have the usual problem. Gearbox is broken... are there any replacement parts that would be more durable?

I have been looking for a speed controler for mine or a good replacement bought mine new in 1986 have not had any other problems except frying the speed controller ant suggestions would be appriciated
