Happiness in a budget way! I´m one lucky Cowboy...

Heres another one i so badly wanted but didnt thought i find just yet. The seller asked for just over 100$ for it, so there was nothing to think about. It didnt have the radio gear with it, but it came with some spares, the extra pinion gear and the 540 motor mount. Unfortunally it also came with a terrible paint job. Must get the right color as soon as possible. Nothing seems to be broken except for the front upper suspension mounts. They have been fixed with some metal plates. The rear tyres are worn but ok. Front ones are real good. I dont think it has been standing on it´s wheels, since they are perfectly round. More than i can say about my RR tyres on my SC. Cant wait to throw my hat on and take it out for a spin.[Update 31/5-05] Oh man...what have i done. I just painted the old paint OVER. And the result isnt good. I have my self to blame i know. But i couldnt buy 10 liters of brake fluid just now. I think it´s better than the previous paintjob anyway. The problem was that it dissolved parts of the underlaying paint, so it lookes strange in some places. But from a little distance, it lookes quite ok i guess. Have also painted the driver to my best abillities, and he looks real good i must say. I´m just going to attach the windshield and the other parts, and off we go.[Update 12/9-06] I`VE GOT A NEW SET OF GEARS. I dont think anyone understand just how rare those gears are. Badgerboy1970 set me up, and i´m gratefull!!! I have a set of hardly run rears also. But problem is. I dont wanna ruin the new gears running offroad where dirt ALLWAYS gets in the gears at some point. And i dont wanna ruin the spikes on the new tires running on tarmac. So probably i´ll change the gears and keep the 'slicks' and run on tarmac saving the precious gears. Shell has to be stripped of the paintjob also. I really hope i can get the time to fix this this autum.
