Now passed on to TamiyaWizard in exchange for something very special (for me at least)!

I've been gradually replacing broken bits and adding missing bits to this chassis I bought from a member in Greece. The Sand Scorcher is the car that stirs the most memories of playing with RC cars in the street when I was a kid, so this has been interesting to say the least. The first thing that surprised me was how little I knew of how it all fitted together - I thought I'd taken my old one apart lots of times but obviously not! A genuine body seems a bit expensive at the moment, and as I am intending to run it, I've gone for a Lexan from Kamtec. Think I'll leave it unpainted for a while. I've also fitted a M-Troniks ESC to try and get the most out of the original battery. All the nuts and bolts have been replaced with stainless steel hex bolts - looks nice on the wheels.
