This truck has been a hit, and a what a performer! I've decided to move on from it and build something else with the parts. I kept the original images up here as a memory of what this truck looked like, it ran like a champ and looked great but with all things I build, I got bored with it after a while and rebuilt it differently. The body has been handed over to my good friend Felix who will run the snot out of it and do it justice! This truck is now my Hilux-TLT-Clod thing...so check it out and add some hits over there! 8D

Looking good Jun. Maybe I need to get you to help me with my tlt project?
cardesigner
No problem James, in exchange you can give me some pointers on my Kyosho rebuilds
There's going to be a lot of TLTs, M-chassis and Scorchers ripping around the studio soon!
Neo Kitz
Look great. looks like it was meant to be fitted on the F-150 shell. It adds proper realism.
Yes!!! Lookin' good. I see you've been busy in your secret laboratory.
scollins
Looks good sir, looks as though the sus. will have great articulation, nice wheel-tire choice too!
Shodog
Oh man that is looking sick. can't wait to see the finished product
Neo Kitz
No..... I definatley think that this will look much better sitting on my shelf. Please send it to me so i can prove my point. I will return it to you..... i swear on the dogs life. I just love this truck...
cardesigner
Lunch ROCS, I think this truck looks best crawling through rocks, mud, and steep cliffs...new photos and videos coming soon to prove my point!
Thanks for the compliments though, and remember...it's still not done! Updated chassis, new wheels and detailed bodywork coming SOON!
addict again
very cool ride!! I put a big bear body on mine but it doesnt look as scale as your's. I may try to lower my body down a bit and fit some other tires and wheels. Yours looks absalutely FANCTASTIC!! cant wait to see her all flexed out over some rocks.
Shodog
I know i already left a comment but everytime I see this truck I can't get over how cool it looks
Neo Kitz
Your definatly right about the Mud and crawling. Bring it on...

Hey there Jun, what type of rear driveshaft did you use after extending the suspension links out back??
cardesigner
for anyone else interested in the rear driveshaft, I used the Kyosho TR15 swing shaft, $7/pr at Tower!
Crash Cramer
Maybe I missed it, but is that a Blackfoot F150 shell or what, very nice realistic looking truck. Hard to imagine that it is 1/18 scale. Did you see my latest photos of a real F150 4WD truck?Very close to looking like yours, NOT.LOL
cardesigner
Yes Chris, the shell is a Blackfoot body. I modded the suspension to 1/10 size for this project.
Neo Kitz
I have just saved the second picture as my PC backdrop
Maxxed Ross
yep it's my background now too. Stunning job mate
that is so much cooler than any TLT-1 I've ever seen! I love the tyres - is that Kyosho Landmax ST?
cardesigner
Not sure what the tires are for exactly, I got them in Japan for very cheap, about $6 a pair! I should have gotten a few more!
bratman
Man that,s sweet !!!!
Maxxed Ross
they look like the same wheels and tyres that came with my F150 pickup. This is a stunning truck mate
focus1
Wow! I want one of those!!! Looks like the real thing mate
Neo Kitz
I still love this truck. I nearly did it myself but i sold my TLT-1. I still cant believe you got bored of it and chopped it up. I realise the parts were donated towards a much better cause, but you will have to do this build again, you could do a re-release...
You know you want to, dont you Jun
cardesigner
Don't worry Neil, I got something in the works! I'm just waiting for a package from the UK!
Petrolhead
Superb piece of work! Looks so real too!
Wyoming
Another truck I missed until now, wow! I just got a couple cheap TLT-1 kits so I was doing research for inspiration on where to go with them and This is the coolest Tlt I've seen to date.
