My current touring car. M1 Express with HPI Toyota Celica and Protoform Honda Civic coupe bodies. On the Celica shell the large Japanese logos are painted, can anyone tell me what it means, and the mistake.(I do know what it means though!)

On the Civic shell everything is paint including the lettering, lots of candy blue and metalflake. The Xpress logos are painted using a candy blue for the fade, backed with metalflake to give blue flakes, then backed with yellow. The Type R logo is also painted.

The chassis has been modified, the front gearbox has been machined to fit a works shock mount, which usually needs its own alloy gearbox. A works rear shock mount and narrow low friction belts are fitted. Handles well on carpet with foam tyres.

The Nosram speed controller is tiny, I added my own spec power capacitor (99p from Maplins, not £20 from Nosram!) Hitec servo controls the steering, it replaces one which was so reliable it only died after many years when I had worn out the brushes in the servo motor!
