I have been at this for a long time now, but finally its cam together quite impressively. To start with a have a modified Type A body with Williams decals, added rear deflector flaps on the sidepods and added extra large chimneys as per the FW27. The rear wing was modified also with much larger endplates as per the 2005 regulations. I have added quite a lot of hop ups to this car which are as follows, Full 3 Racing Carbon Chassis conversion, 3 racing aluminium motor guard plate, tamiya aluminium shocks with low friction damper pistons all round, racing spring set, lightweight prpellor joint set, light weight counter gears, reinforced Tyres Type A, blue aluminium turnbuckles for the pushrods, brand new gearboxes front and rear, a upgraded Hi-Tec metal geared hi speed servo, Novak SS5800 Brushless system, 23T pinion gear with the standard 55T spur gear, modified spur gear holder, reinforced lower arm set, light weight ball diffs front and rear, GP 3300 battery pack and a mini Acoms receiver. Still to add a few other items to the car like aluminium blue spacer set for the chassis instead of the silver ones. It is super super quick and handles great if not better than my old Yokomo MR4TC SD SSG. Please feel free to comment as you wish. All comments welcome.

UPDATE:-) Added Univeral Driveshafts at the front, Carbon Chassis Blue Anodised Spacer Set and also managed to squeeze the receiver onto the bottom deck with the brushless ESC, which in itself is quite an achievment. New pcitures will be added soon. Just looking for a new body for the car at the moment.

!!!(((UPDATE - 27/03/2005)))!!! MORE PICTURES ADDED !!! Just finished an overhaul on the car. Front wing now modified with a very angled look to it just as per 2005 regulations and the FW27 by myself. rear wing, I was very unhappy with this before, but made new endplates that are to scale as the FW27 and 2005 regulations again made by myself. Added new shaped chimneys to the sidepods now they look more like the FW27's ones with them angled outward, made from scrap lexan and glued and painted and sculped to the body. Driver helmet repainted just like Mark Webber's design, still got some touching up to do on it, but the overall colour and design is there. Aluminium front and rear blocks are on the way soon for it. Nose is wrecked. Has anyone got a spare F201 Type A nose cone?? I really badly need a new one. Will be getting a new Type A body from Maxxed Ross soon so will paint that in the williams FW27 colour scheme and buy the proper FW27 sticker set from Formula One R/C. Also on its way soon from the USA is a special carbon chassis bottom plate made by Dakota2763 which looks unbelievably gorgeous. Top man :):)

thanks

James
