A good day at my LHS.. one of many good deals that day

I had a fantastic weekend both at a LHS and at a toy show. I found this LP500S about 6 months ago just sitting in a glass case at a LHS. I asked if it was for sale and they responsed that it was a customer car (along next to a Mansell Indy car, not for sale either). Well, six months later on my way to a toy show not far from the shop, I decided to go back. The INDY car was gone (no big deal there), but the Lambo still sat. After looking around and finding some other old great original RC10 parts, I asked again. The owner told me it was classic Kyosho car that was discontinued, DUH! I asked how much he wanted for it, he took it out of the case and into the back..... a few minutes later he gave me a price that I could not refuse!!!! WHAT A FIND! It has not a scratch on the bottom side of the chassis and the tires are fresh, not even glued. Missing a MSC and a motor. The body has been poorley painted, the second chassis piece attached (it will have to be stripped.... easy to do) and it is missing mirrors and the rear wing (anyone have mirrors or a wing??????). Other than that, awesome. This was my first on road car back about 20 year ago. I LOVE IT!
