After I bought the kit back in 1997 I built it and ran it with loads of fun... Then -around 2001- I put my hands on it again and tuned it for trial - very nice and realistic but not worth the tortures on it. You can see pics of that time in my showroom.
In 2002 when the XB Pajero was on the market I bought one of them, stripped the MTW, bought another nip chassis ( the bathtub ) without all these stickers and put all the other XB parts into it for the Metaltop. So the complete rolling chassis was new. Then I repainted the body but I'm not really satisfied with the result. When I have a new sticker sheet I'll strip the body again and paint it one more time in another colour. (It will be black again - as it always was - I 'll use paint from another manufacturer)
The old parts went into the stickered XB bathtub chassis. I modified that rolling chassis a little bit more and have this for trial since then.
It has Full Ball Bearings,5-Spoke 2-Piece Wheels and a RS-540 Sport Tuned Motor - and 2 R/C Light Bulb Sets.

WOW! This car looks very realistic on these pics. It's a little beauty. Very nice idea to paint the rims in black
